Hi
New to the L200, I have got a 2003 Warrior with about 85k on the clock but had a new engine at 55k. I have just brought it. Chrome front and rear nudge bars and roll bar. Mud tyres. It's got the MIL light on so I will be looking for advice here! Just changed the oil and filter, fuel filter rocker cover gasket and about to remove the cat and EGR valve and cooler.
My other car is a an MGB roadster with a 4lr rover V8 and all e type suspension and wire wheels😀

Thanks guys! ive just bought a 1999 4life to help me start my own business however things havent gone to plan. advertised @ 101k turned out to be 181k, tub is rotten,(paineted over rust and filler so couldnt see) and a crack in chassis that was filled in with silicone, oh and first time i drove it i broke a spring shakkle!
But i love it! been to milners to get a few goodies... so i just need to source a new tub or take mine up and patch the 8-9 holes properly!

@Cruusing
the engine management light(orange light in the shape of an engine) is quite often triggered by turbo overboost (there is a guide on here of how to adjust this)
ideally you could get the code read to find out what the issue is, unfortunately it needs to be read by a (really expensive) MUT III code reading thingy, most of the cheap ones wont read it.
does the light go out when you turn the ignition off and wait for 60 seconds then start it up again ?
egr valve and cooler a good shout, if you remove the cat keep it somewhere safe. Not only are they worth a few quid in scrap but I suspect as MOT regulations change there may be a lot of decatted L200 that may fall come MOT time and could prove costly to have to buy a new one to get it through the MOT. Some stations pass them without cats where others insist they are fitted.
