I need some silicon hose and a T for it. No way of telling which lead on that plug is +ve and +ve though. And I don't want to wire it up wrong without a fuse. Any ideas to work out which is which?

Won't that be a bit dangerous, having to drive whilst holding it in place....?

Ooo that's bloody sexy that is!
Is yours a classic Yoda ? I want one of those!
It is a classic Dingle yes. I can get you the name of the eBay guy I got it from. But it was second hand, he isn't a retailer. He may know where to get them from. Bit sad that us lot don't really. This is why when I saw this posted in eBay finds I jumped on it. I'm not even that enthraled with the actual gauge. It's ok, I just wanted it for the holder😁 gauge always be changed at a later date.
Maybe Jo (cccreations) can make a mould from mine for retail. If there was enough interest I'm sure he can do it.

Found these 2 on e-bay, one single pod one double pod, not for l200 but could be adapted or maybe supplier has other makes.

Yes. Start an interested parties list. And we'll get Jo on board to see what he can do. Try to discourage people clicking yes if they aren't Definitly sure they want one.

Gauge pods are easy enough to do but this one has the raised edge that runs around the gauge which would mean it would get stuck in the mould as it comes back on its self it would trap it. If it had a flush face to it then it would be fine. It could be done but that one woul need to be altered, that or id need a l200 pillar to use to make one instead.
Cheers

So if enough guys are interested could we do it without a raised edge? As in, it would still work?

Yer its that rasied edge that will cause all the problems. A flush one would fix that

i expect the wires are for lighting. If it has 2 lights (1 for the gauge face and a max boost warning) then the case will be ground.
I would think they are both for the face though or you would need a boost switch that fitted externally to put the warning light on
if it's just a face light then you can go either way round unless it's led then it will only work one way.
power it up with a 1.5v battery if you are scared then you won't do any harm
if you have a mm then you could test res. between each lead and the case just to make sure as the outside of it may come into contact with metalwork at some stage

Good idea Billy. I'll do both.
Jo, what would be the retail on a pod? We could then start a thread asking for potential customers to sign up. Like what happened with the snorkels.

Not sure should not be an expensive piece but depends how we can make one. Or if I do one scratch scratch which would not be hard if I had a pillar panel. Do you have one on your breaker truck dude?
