What is the law on winch bumpers and the likes? I thought that bull bars and stuff were illegal as they're not pedestrian friendly? Lol

In Sweden they sure are very illegal, going to be interesting to MOT it with it on next time

interesting problem I noticed yesterday, actually - rattling up a forest track, I noticed a random clicking coming fom the front offside wheel - I`m thinking cv joint as it s done it recently before, but on full turn and on articulation. boot the other side is split too soooooo tlc to ones undercarriage ....again! Bloody forestry, never ending trail of bushes, cv`s, uj`s, endless offroad playing every day

You love your hobby/job don't you bas... Lol

arriving tomorrow - tiny bottle jacks no good now - those of you who have one - any advice - maintenance, use, onboard storage? Ta, Basil

dont think theres any maintaining to do bas, just keep the moving spring bits oiled and clean. using it is a piece of pish, move handle up and down and it'll slowly work it's way up the jack hope by hole.

storage, you can get roof mounts and stuff for 'em, seen them on TBR before. just chuck it in the back lol.

A friend got one of those and has a habit to come down more quickly then you want it to.

I`m well used to dealing with monkey strainers on hill fencing - similar action, and tension on winch ropes can be a problem - I`ve watched some of the youtube vids about these and they seem ideal for lifting high trucks

Mate got his jaw broken with a high-lift when the handle suddenly caught and sprung up hitting him in the face.
