Basil you knew I was here, just been busy with balloon stylie things. Two small nukes ready to fit, going to make a PWM controller, so's I can vary the output.
So far clocked 28.7 average, gonna do an induction clean and re-run the figures for another 1000 miles, then run nuke tests and see where we go..
Sseing slider people this w/end. Might get some for me too. I will ask about ground anchors while I am there........... ( see back on topic too...)

for this gorge rope job I need a flat plate, with a 3" loop on the top, then six or eight `pins ` two-three feet long to pin it to the peat, all at the same oblique angles to stop them pulling oot. the plate needs to be about two feet square, light enough to carry, but heavy duty enough to carry two men in a rescue scenario. Can you see if he can oblige Lez? Ta mate

I have a 12" x 36" stainless plate about 10mm thick if thats any use, bit lumpy but ideal for your stuff, can do a scaffold eye in the centre thats bolted through for extra strength, give me more info on the pins, could scaffold tube ( aluminium) be any good.

plate sounds good Lez, giant screws would be fave, as long as I can carry them out onto the hill and can wind the fixings into the ground.
