Hi

I was driving on some snow at my house last night.
I was in 4wd low (super select), and I went to put it back in 4wd with the diffs (the central yellow light). When I went to put the lever down I managed to but it got stuck and didn't engage any of the wheels, then the lights went off.
Now it is still stuck and I cannot move the car (and the snow is building up around it living in the north of iceland).
I took apart the transmission lever to check the white bite of plastic and and spring, but they were all fine.
Then when I put it all back together still the same problem.
I tried to remove the control housing to see how it was in there but haven't managed to access the last screw (will get a spanner for it tomorrow)
I can move the lever sideways and up and down (the up and down motion to go into low gear) but that's it.
Also another strange thing is that I can shift gears without pressing the clutch. I figured that was because none of the wheels are engaged.

Any ideas what this could be and how I could fix it?
