Dont suppose you could take a vid of yours so i could see how it should be.
I say 15 times but thats because its spining and when it slows down i can count 5 so even 10 extra might be too many
mine stops dead as it should do when hot as soon as I turn the key off

coolant has possibly boiled and sent out the expansion bottle reducing level in matrix pipes

Got round to looking at the truck today and noticed the expansion tank was bubbling, took the pipe out and it smelt like the exhaust so im gussing the egr cooler.
So do people block off/remove the egr on these? i have removed a number of ergs on other Cars but wanted to see what people do on these?
Do you remove the cooler all together block of the egr holes and bridge the coolent pipes back together or just put a blank on the egr?
Probs not the answer to all my problems but deffo not helping
Block egr , remove cooler....block up vacuum pipe
I suspect that you have bigger issues in the guise of headgasket failure though to have the header tank bubbling , which would explain the other issues......BUT try the egr blank/cooler removal first , there is a rumoutrr they could go porous but c an't remember of any documented cases.
