I have a cheap £20 code reader from ebay tbat does live readings for obd2 which works fine... i see no resson why it won't work. Maybe limited in its functions though.
Disclaimer - i actually have no idea if it works or not!

Probably the scanner pictured works fine, but personally I wouldn't be buying anything through such a random site.

Should work fine - ELM327 is just the chip that powers it i think - the torque app for android is pretty cool, but you have to pay to get the flashy features. I did try it with the OBDI scanner on the classic but it wasn't having it. Just to be clear to anyone else reading this thread, this scanner will not work with a classic...

just had a message from d2 club, for info it won't work on a td5 so might be worth checking newer L200's?

I bought an eBay one and have torquepro app on my phone . Works fantastic on my new shape .
Will read and reset most codes but not airbag lights .
My truck went into limp mode and I was able to reset it using the app .

I used to have one and the torque available on the app store. They're great for generic engine codes but can't do anything else like reset airbags/abs/service lights. Ideal to pop in the glove box though!
