Hi everyone,
I'm selling my Strada. Not sure why, but I am, and I'd rather it went to someone who will appreciate what it is.
I've had it six years, and I've spent a bit on it. It has 11 months' MOT and receipts detailing what I've done to it. It's done approx 135,000 miles (odometer is in Km, as is the speedo).
Good: recently replaced full exhaust system, rear bearings, brake hoses and rear brakes. New battery in October with 3-year warranty. Recent replacement clutch slave cylinder. Reliable to to a fault. These engines are amazing. Chrome front and rear bars, connected towbar, roof-rack, etc. Running boards, blah blah.
Bad: Wear on outer of passenger front tyre - passed MOT though. Might be the tracking, as all other tyres are fine. Front and roof spots are wired but don't work - they did, so I guess it's just a loose wire or kink, or even a weird fuse thing. Interior light doesn't work. Winch hasn't worked since I've had it, I just never got round to removing it. Rear tailgate only opens with the rope-fix I added. Handle came off about a week after I bought it in early 2012!
It was neglected when I bought it, but low mileage so I was prepared to spend a bit on it. I've taken care of it and it's been very good to me - it's just time for a change.
Bought it for £1700, and it's in much better shape today so I'm looking for £2000. All belts and fluids and injectors have been done in my ownership. It'll go on forever, this thing, and will soon be a proper classic. I've had two of these, and both have been brilliant. I'd love it to go to someone who 'gets it'.
I'll add some photos when I've cleaned it, and it'll be available in a week or so when this Crimbo nonsense is out of my hair.
Just putting it out there for now.... let me know if you're interested. I'm just south of Bath.
Thanks. George.

Man this is a really clean K34 and I would snap it up in a heartbeat if I had the space. Such a shame you are getting shot of it, George. Hopefully it goes to someone who will keep it going and keep it in such good nick.

Happy New Year all.
Just to say, I'm giving my truck a stay of execution, so it's no longer for sale.
Cheers,
George
