2011 L200 Warrior. Putting in a double DIN Pioneer head unit in order to get a reversing camera. Job growing unnecessary arms and legs, but can I upgrade my steering wheel to get the stereo buttons of the Barbarian model?
Stereo supplier says yes, but car needs reprogrammed by Mitsubishi.
Mitsubishi say car can't be reprogrammed.
Auto electrician says air bag ring needs changed, wiring needs added and etc etc.

I'm not feeling anybody knows the full picture here.

Anybody done this at all and KNOWS what needs done?

I take it being a warrior 2011 it has cruise buttons already fitted to one side?

if you remove the blank silver cover on your steering wheel (one pozi screw on the backside) hopefully you will find a small red plug
that will plug into the the silver cover, but with the stereo controls,

Then you will need to purchase something like this to control the buttons (but this will depend on which radio you fit) you would need to find this out.

As for being programmed by Mitsubishi or a new air bag ring, you only need to change the trim and no programming needed
