I would think the only reason that it would take a while to show up is that you are losing vacuum

i will have to have a closer inspection, is the system dealing with much pressure as they are just push fit, also just to add that air did come out of one of the push on plastic covers when i blew into my repaired pipe, also abs light comes on intermittently

While playing around with the vac pipes you may have disturbed the rust on the vac tank and caused another leak , my intermittent abs light was a rotten wire in the plug on the osf wheel sensor , only found it by accident while doing the alternator

Your abs sounds a bit of a coincidence

Have this issue. Narrowed it down to the 4x4 solenoids. The solenoid pipes are colour coded blue and yellow by a dotted line on that pipe. There is also a dot on the solenoids, funnily enough 1 blue and 1 yellow! I Crawled under the truck and pulled the bellows of the front axle actuator and checked it moved freely. It did so I connected a bit of hose to the where the yellow pipe goes (nearest centre of vehicle) and sucked and the actuator moved, also had wife in cab and she told me the light stopped flashing when I did this. Then pulled pipes off solenoids and felt for suction, a latex glove was good for this as suction isn't that great. This showed me the blue pipe was sucking but the yellow wasn't.
