hello all

I joined 3 years ago and have finaly bought an L200!

It's a black 2006 (new shape) animal with a lot of lift bits and 33" tyres. I have a few plans for it and will update on here now and again.
First up: remove the "animal" sticker on the 3rd brake light. Then change the blue sidelights for white ones. Then find a canopy.

A fw Q's - what's the normal wading depth? Also, how is the roll hoop attached to the tub? I can see obvious bolts on the front end, but not on the back end...any ideas? I guess take off the plastic liner and that'll reveal some under there...?

cheers
Andy

hello there
full fitting instructions are in my gallery here --------> g787-roller-shutter.html
there should be 1 nut/bolt on each upright by the cab and 2 nuts/bolts on each leg at the rear that are threaded into the bars
you should be able to get to these if you putt the bedliner out, if you've no bed liner then they will be obvious to get at
hopefully you can view my gallery , if not then let me know and I'll try and post the pics on this thread for you

smashing thanks - It's as I guessed. I think you have the same rollyhoopy thing as me. Or VERY similar!

yep, yours will be slightly shorter and the rear ends will be curved to match the shape of the bed, other than that should be identical

Not sure about yours Hulk, but have heard Kurts normal wading depth is less than 1/2".

Roll hoop is off (and is for sale if anyone's interested?). What a palava getting to the nuts on the front end, but a few grazed knuckles later it's all good.
I've bought a replacement bonnet, so the carbon one is now for sale too. (well, it will be when the steel one shows up and i do the swap!)

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket seat subframe for the pram shape? Buying one is easier than making something. I thought I could live with the slidy slippy slidy seats, but I can't! Going to fit some bucket things instead.

Found a piece online about wading depth of L200, apparently 700mm...but at 9mph constant speed with a bow wave, so no stopping
