Got a shogun sport in for breaking,
Rear axel with disks calipers etc, £200.
Makes a good conversion for an L200, the shogun sport rear is on coil springs though, so (unless you want to convert that as well, you need to put the leaf spring mountings on to the shogun axel or transfer the brakes and calipers on to yours but I thing you will still need to do some welding
We did do one but it was years ago so can't remember what exactly needed doing

I would be all over this if I had the welding ability or knew someone local I could trust to engineer the solutions where needed.

Its not worth all the effort either way for this, to convert to coils is do-able but is a good load of graft, to put discs on and use leafs it's not worth it, the handbrake will be no better than well adjusted drums.

We need substantially more power before we can consider donuts billy! Help me out with the know how on the 2.8 swap and I promise I'll post up a vid of an L200 doing a donut.
Ps, and yes I know there are videos of L200's doing donuts on loose ground. Not the same.

You need less power to doughnut with a lsd than a fully locked diff though as you only need to break traction on one wheel at a time.
Still not sure you could do it with the 2.5 without needing a new head and crank at the same time...

Not sure the 2.5 could do it at all. Especially with bigger wider tyres!

My 2.8 with LSD does lovely doughnuts. Little bit of wet and she slides like a fat bird on ice.

Not that I would endorse that on a public road but fair play to that man. Takes some skill to drift like that, not to mention in a truck!
