Hi as in the subject.
How do i remove the rear tub of my 2009 l200 4life short bed?
Can i drive it without the tub attached? (Probably not i presume)
And finally. Mine is a short bed. Can i fit a long bed on with or without modification?
I got hit and run a year ago while parked at a customers. Want to fix the taped up damage to the bed now as its started to rust :(
Many thanks.
Tub just unbolts, think it's 6 bolts.
If you have no tub, you have no rear lights, or mud guards covering the wheels.
Pretty sure the chassis is strengthened on Long beds.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any idea on converting it to a long bed? Is it all the same apart from the extra 30cm at the back?

Im more light stuff. Not 1st fix building materials more second fix. On 1 occasion i have loaded 350 bricks which i think was over a ton. Maybe 1 other occasion with bags of cement/plaster. Its for property restoration/renovation/maintenacr. Recently qualified as electrician so work will be lighter. Basicslly i can easily reduce my max load to under 800kg if need be as i rarely get anywhere near that anyway.
