Will my 2006 new shape double cab Animal model speed limits be the same as car,s or is it reduced on single carriageways to 50 mph and dual carriageways to 60 mph please
Technically it is a commercial vehicle so bound by the same speed limits as commercial vehicles ( transit vans etc ) BUT I have also Read that it's only if it's sign written but can't clarify if that's true or not. Think you'd be unlucky to be done for speeding though...it's up to you what you do but my guess is most members don't really bother worrying about it!

we had this discussion many years back and it seems we are (or were ) classed as dual purpose vehicles --------> https://www.gov.uk/speed-limits
we had a couple of members on here who were police and agreed with this
I think you'd be very unlucky to find a traffic officer who wanted to argue that you are classed as a 'goods vehicle less than 7.5 tonnes' and do you for doing 70 on a dual carriageway
