Please tell us a little about yourself and where abouts your are from.
If you wish to see more of the site , maybe The How to section of jobs members have carried out or maybe the online manuals then please upgrade your membership. It is completely free and all we ask is that you Private Message Admin your name, address and postcode ( look for the box marked ' Private Messages ' in the top light blue banner, about a third of the way across). we only ask you to do this as it discourages ' spammers ' and ensures only genuine members are upgraded. Your details will never be used for anything else and never passed to anyone else.
Please Note : On average your upgrade should take up to 48 hrs but there are times when it may take longer, please be patient but Admin does it in their spare time
If you have any pressing questions then please ask in the ' Ask Admin /Moderators ' section. Most of the upgraded members have access to this section. We do ask , when posting , that you can supply some basic information about your truck to enable a more focused answer. If you are unsure of which series/mark of L200 you have please follow this link Identifying your ' Series ' of L200
If we could also just ask you to stick a pin in our map for an approx location then our regional reps, when organising events , will be able to contact people within their areas
Adding yourself to the forum Map
Could just let us know where you heard about the L200Forum from please that would be great.
How did you find the L200Forum?
Many Thanks

Hi new to the l200 scene ? I’m a truck driver from Tullibody( central 🏴) but don’t hold that against me lol 😂 I recently got a 57 plate l200 doublecab , couple of wee issues I need too deal with, rear prop shaft is currently being refurbished my power steering is stiff on ide but ok when driving ( i suspect a pump issue) but willing to listen to advice from experienced l200 owners 👍 and the biggest issue is not getting the radio to tune in to any frequency? Ariel is plugged in but not tuning in ?.... many thanks for letting me join your forum I look forward to receiving advice from yourselves in the future 👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks for the welcome, picking a L200 animal up on Sunday 2006 low road tax model. Black Double cab. I am bound to have some stupid newbie questions coming your way soon. Live in Essex. Sorry it is the B40 pram shape model.

Big Les, I had an issue with a van years ago that I couldn't get the radio to work in. My fault was the previous owner had changed the stereo and added an aerial extension and turns out that was the only bit plugged into the back of the unit. I found this out by running a meter on continuity from the aerial outside to the plug that went in the back of the unit. Yours may be an easy fix like this you never know. With the power steering I'd be tempted to replace the belt and make sure the fluid is topped up and a nice color before replacing the pump as it's not 'common' for them to need replacing.
Buellie, fire away with your questions bud , everyone was a newbie once

Hi All,
Thanks for the welcome, I've had a 2008 Walkinshaw for about 4 months now and loving it. Currently in North Kent but making the move to Cornwall (hopefully!) By the end of the year
Not done too much to the truck as yet as not really had the time, just a new head unit and uprated speakers in the front as they were blown when I brought it. Will be looking at getting set up for some more serious off roading before the move with some mud terrains, front winch bumper and heavy duty rear tow. The place were moving to is as remote as you can get pretty much which is the reason for the mods (plus I can justify the expense to the Mrs)
I'm sure I'll have loads of questions so I look forward to picking everyone's brains soon.

We've got an offer accepted on a house that's in the middle of Bodmin Moor, about 5/10 minutes south of Temple at the end of a big dirt track.
