Camelius' Truck

#1 by Camelius , Thu Jan 24, 2013 3:09 pm

Hello friends,
For the last 10-15 years, i have owned various BMW's... Many convertibles, coupes and finally an '03 M3 Convertible.
Then i wanted to try sth. different and got this 2007 L200 4x4 Auto. For almost more than a year, i have been driving this truck and i love it so far!
I wanted to share some photos from the beginning to today...

#edit; there is a limit on photos. So i'll add less photos

When i first got it;

Transanatolia 2012 Rally

Some sand fun;

Nice truck mate, where did you get those ARB side protectors from? I've been thinking of those.
Also, what is this 'scratch proof film' sorcery you speak of?

A good winch bumper really sets off a new shape and takes the gimpy hair dresser look away, I do really like those wing protector bars, they look hard as nails

Thanks Greg,
I've got them from the ARB Distributor here in Turkey.
The film i'm talking about is; you know they cover the front part of some cars to avoid stone chips in the hood. It's transparent and compared to the window tint film its much thicker and tougher. So i covered the whole truck with this 3M protective film. Now i can drive into the bushes or branches with no fear of getting scratched

The film would possibly be securifix, the same stuff we use to stop windows being smashed, it'll hold a side window against a hammer attack..
