As above, no use for it. I never have and never will, so in my opinion it's just restricting airflow to the main rad and is pointless weight. It's coming off this week so if you want it, or a bit of it give me a shout. Not convinced the compressor's in good shape though.
Tensioner, rad, compressor, hoses, refrigerant reservoir, the lot available.
You can have it for the postage cost and a small donation to the forum pot.
If nobody wants it, it'll be scrapped.

Dan, there was talk a while back about using the aircon pump to fill an onboard air tank for use with air tools etc, might be an ideal project for someone there

I had looked at doing the onboard tank, was it Tonka did it?
The train horn would be interesting, I've got 5 horns at the minute. The 2 originals, 2 snails and 1 from a JCB. If I honk you, your ancestors feel it!

Although, it might be ok as an air compressor for blowing up tyres etc.
I would think you would need to keep it lubed up but an in-line air tool oiler on the inlet side should do the job.

I put the carpet and sound deadening into 2 parcels for somebody once and had a surcharge from the carriers as they were both over 25kg.
Strip off all the bits that you don't even need and I bet you could get 25% off the weight of the truck.
That's a 25% fuel saving or a truck that will do 0-60 in 3 seconds.
Maybe.
