Please tell us a little about yourself and where abouts your are from.
If you wish to see more of the site , maybe The How to section of jobs members have carried out or maybe the online manuals then please upgrade your membership. It is completely free and all we ask is that you Private Message Admin your name, address and postcode ( look for the box marked ' Private Messages ' in the top light blue banner, about a third of the way across). we only ask you to do this as it discourages ' spammers ' and ensures only genuine members are upgraded. Your details will never be used for anything else and never passed to anyone else.
Please Note : On average your upgrade should take up to 48 hrs but there are times when it may take longer, please be patient but Admin does it in their spare time
If you have any pressing questions then please ask in the ' Ask Admin /Moderators ' section. Most of the upgraded members have access to this section. We do ask , when posting , that you can supply some basic information about your truck to enable a more focused answer. If you are unsure of which series/mark of L200 you have please follow this link Identifying your ' Series ' of L200
If we could also just ask you to stick a pin in our map for an approx location then our regional reps, when organising events , will be able to contact people within their areas
Adding yourself to the forum Map
Could just let us know where you heard about the L200Forum from please that would be great.
How did you find the L200Forum?
Many Thanks

Hello team,
I'm Dave from the South Coast and I have recently taken ownership of a 65 plate series 5 L200 Warrior mainly to tug my caravan around because my previous machine, a hyundia Sante Fe broke (soft roader 4WDs don't like slippy stuff and the rear diff destroyed itself trying to get off a muddy field... not worth repairing according to two garages and a main dealer). Thus far I am extremely happy with my investment, for starters I am no longer overloading the caravan with stuff (cadacs, spare gas bottles, beer, more beer, tool boxes and beer), that all goes in the back and the wagon tows like a dream (as i thought it would.)
I am new to all this L200 stuff, obviously I did my homework before deciding on a mitsubishi, but looking around there is a lot of stuff and a lot of terms that are alien to me so be patient if i ask stupid questions.
thank you for letting me in.

Thank you for your warm welcome!
I'm Bruno from Portugal! Recently I've changed my "old" Nissan Patrol 260 2.8td (very well prepared for off road) by a "new" L200 k74 2.5td (stock 2000). It is in relatively bad shape with a rusty chassi, lots of components that do not work (ac, lights, window switch, door lock, rear brakes, seats with holes, 4x4 light blinking, half of cargo cover missing, etc...). The idea is to bring this L200 back to its original shape (slowly) and possibly, improve its off-road capabilities (just slightly).
I hope to share some of my works, as well as to "spy" other members works to find some ideas and solve any eventual issue that may appear.
(English is not my native language, so I would like to apologize for some eventual problems with my English)
