You can take them out and hook them straight to a battery - hold them with a pair of pliers as they will get hot very quickly if working. You can also check them in-situ with multimeter - take off the buzz rail that connects them and measure the resistance from the body of the plug to the thread on the top - should be around 0.7Ohms I think. Was this problem occurring before you made the changes you talk about?

Hate to be harsh, but it's almost certainly something you've done that has caused this problem, so I wouldn't start out looking for anything new that has magically gone wrong at the exact same time you've done the work.
Have you used a Milner's Boshi filter? If so I would bet @123hotchef 's right arm that is the problem. Get a better one and your problems might just go away - Mahle fuel filters work for me ok. https://www.opieoils.co.uk/f/100261/1889...uel-filter.aspx
I would test the old glow-plugs and if they're working put them back in. Just connect a wire to the negative terminal of the battery and wrap it round the main body of the plug, then hold the plug (with pliers) and touch the threaded end (with a nut on it) against the positive terminal of the battery. If they're the originals, I'll bet they are better than the ones you just put in...
Good luck.

From what I've read your truck needed a couple of lots of heat before you replaced everything, I had an issue with my glow plug relay a while back , it would show 12 volts at the buzz bar but starting was awful, stripped relay and found internal terminals burnt to a crisp , replaced relay in the end .
As has been said double check everything you have done , it's easy to damage the o ring on the diesel filter if they weren't lubed when you tightened it up and any small amount of air would slow starting while it cleared

shogun sport , not much I can say about it really other than it’s slower than the l200 🤷♂️

@AD - I've always had a problem getting them to seal properly with the filter housing, so they let in air. Other people have said the quality of the internal filter bit is rubbish too, but I can't really comment on this.
