After some advice, We are having some issues keeping the V8 swap cool in my K74. Even at Idle it is overheating. I'm running a digital temp gauge on the In hose and it's climbing up 1 degree every minuite while idling.
We tried running two, £25 Ebay 16” puller fans on the back of the rad as we have no room for the mechanical fan, But the truck started overheating, even at idle, So we removed the Aircon rad and condenser out of the way and had the same problem, clearly the fans are crap so I’ve got £150 pounds worth of extremely powerful SPAL fans arriving today, which will be rigged up as Pushers (Too big to fit as pullers) but I’m not entirely sure if they are going to fix the issue. I think the Rad it’s self is not up to the job.
So to get ahead of this, Does anyone know of any Radiator Upgrades for the K74? Or aftermarket Radiators that will fit in the same space? (I can make customer mounts without too much issue.

I run one of these, had it in truck for 3 years now, much much better cooling than the standard rad. Never once had a problem even when towing. it holds around 2 litres more than the standard rad i think. Anyways have a look, see what you think.

All sorted. Swapped the rad for another k74 rad and fitted the new (and expensive) fans and it's cuded it.

Companies like Allisport (https://www.allisport.com/) make replacement radiators, which fits on the original mounts, but have more capacity. 2 liters more of cooling liquid can make a huge difference. Together with racing coolant : http://www.bardahl.nl/en/product/racing-coolant/
Fitting an oil cooler is also an efficient way to keep the engine cool.
It might be interesting to look at the reason why the engine is overheating... Bad ignition timing? Bad injection timing? Bad valve timing? Wrong engine oil? All these factors can influence the engine temperature....
Every great journey starts in first gear and by releasing the clutch....
