Truck is trying my patience!!

Seems to be one thing after another. Fuel gauge won't go below just over half full.put fuel in it goes up.but won't go down .nd it ain't half full unless this engine has started giving me 100 mpg + .2003 .2.5 k74 .has sender gone to sender heaven ..any help appreciated

you think im right at looking at sender first,could it be the gauge in the dash itselft that's faulty ??

test sender by unplugging sender wires - should drop to zero

Disconnected battery as struggling to free plug from sender nd needle on gauge stays in middle ?? if sender needs to come out looks like tank drop to fkn fiddly otherwise

Not sure that works as the gauge stays where it was normally, so you may need to unplug it, you can go in to the dash and do a resistance check form the plug to the sender, you can also ground the level wire and the gauge should go full scale

Got plug off sender .shorted black nd yellow gauge went to full.emptied tank got bout 15ltrs out gauge went down.put back together put the about 15 ltr back in gauge gone to 3/4 ? GOTTA be hinged up sender or float.fk it
