Hi guys
I need help
My front diff actuator rod appears to be jammed
How do I free it? Do I pull it in and out or do I twist the rod?
Don’t want to break it just need to know best way to fix it
pull back the rubber gator and spray liberally with WD40 or the like
you may have to do this a few times if it's stuck
shift into and back out of 4WD a couple of times too
have someone lay underneath to see if it's moving but dont run them over

Hi
Taken gater of yesturday, removed vacuume actuator, rod is stuck , plenty of grease around it,
I guess it’s a case of slowly try to move it?
I believe that there should be a spring inside that if vacuume fail it moves to default position,
I guess to free it is to get grips on it and tap until free?
you may have to unplug the 2 vac pipes that go to the actuator so any vacuum stopping it from moving isn't there
MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET THESE TWO PIPES BACK ON THE WRONG WAY ROUND

I now have the problem of working out which plug goes where,,
I need to know,
Should the diff lock work in 4 high and 4 low, or should it only activate on 4 low, ,
Help would be gratefully accepted
If its a K74 ( classic , series 3 ) then diff lock should only be in 4 low

Hi guys
Got a bit confused, rear diff lock works in 4low only,
What I meant was does front diff actuator rod move into front diff in 4h and 4l ?

Upon further mucking about, it appears I have no vaccume, think it’s the pump on back of alternator,,,,
How do I test this.?
Hi guys
Is the vacuume pump switched or does it pump all the time?.?
Fitted to back of alternator,

Hi guys
Ok so no vacuum before one way valve for diff actuator pipes, I notice that the metal vacuum pipe Ts off in between inlet manifold,
Is this a vacuum supply for actuator circuit when engine is running?
I have vacuum at brake servo so assume pump is working on back of alternator
Further info, I have found a pair of vacuum switches on the near side inner wing, two different types of plug, does anyone know
The part number for this?
sounds like the vacuum solenoids you've just found.... @123hotchef got any part numbers or places to buy those
