The mod is still in progress.The rear end is almost ready,but I must finish and the front (shocks rebuild,4636 diff gears,wisbones mod, etc)

How are you finding the metal on the axles when welding with being a cast part. Does it weld nice?? I know it’s cast steel and not cast iron but sometimes they can still be full of impurities When welding and putting a lot of heat into them. Depending on how well they are made. No cracking?? I had a bad problem with a casing cracking on an old Suzuki sj axle after I welded. Forever chasing cracks. Just wondered what the mitzy ones are like

Nice job and looks very professionally done. Question, what size chunk did you lose with going with the new fuel tank?
