spotted this universal K&N apollo that finishes just after 9pm tonight might be a cheap alternative if all you need is to get the right pipe to fit an L200?

don't me if you buy it and it doesn't fit though

I've already got a K&N element in mine so its not for me but might interest someone else

Are these apollos universal is it just the pipe thats different to fit them?

Are they any good?

They get a good write up with those in the know, I think the basic filter unit is the same, however there would appear to be different size pipes and adapters for model specific applications

I'm watching a few on ebay which may be worth a punt at the right price

They definitely give a better throttle response. I mean its not huge but IS noticeable. Also I understand they should give better mpg too due to creating a cleaner burn without putting more fuel in due to the way our ECU's work. I can't comment on that myself as I've only had mine in since friday. But I will report back on Mpg if anyone wishes.

Yeh it will improve your mpg ,as i did the De-Cat and Apollo change at the same time and returned originally 25 mpg and now get 30+,best so far 33 mpg ye haaaa

Nic we cant fit those on ours, I know zippy tried and it threw all sorts of codes at him and his truck went into limp mode as well...Something to do with the air sensor

Yea u can run that, I have one in mine, sounds good but dint make a difference to MPG, but at least i dont have to keep changing it

Well despite lots of interest from elsewhere, I appears to have got in first, and Paul being an honourable gentleman and thourougly decent chap has seen fit to sell the apollo to me for a very reasonable price

All of a sudden I want the snow to stop.......at least until the posty has been with my stickers and Apollo, then may the blizzard commence
