All of a sudden, my ABS and both traction control lights have lit up on the dashboard. Plugged my code reader in, and no engine management or trouble codes.
What does it mean?

I remember this happening to me on my previous L200, check fuse 12 under the bonnet. (check 'em all in case I've not remembered the number correctly).
On mine, it turned out a connector had melted under the passenger seat carpet which then blew that fuse and threw the lights up. Easy fix if that's what's caused it...

why dont you pull the carpet and look under it?
If it's not broken yet, you're not trying hard enough.

Checked all the fuses (under the bonnet, not under the steering wheel), and all ok. Looked at the wires under the passenger seat, and they are not in contact with the carpet, and all seem ok (still connected). Interestingly, i thought the entire carpet was wet, when it was actually only a region (if looking down at it, it was wet around 7:30).

Ended up taking the motor into the mitsu garage for a full diagnostics. Report came back that the previous garage had replaced the upper ball joints incorrectly, and some exposed metal had split the wires of both front abs sensors. Mitsu wanted £101 per sensor, plus both ball joints and fitting. I'm wondering if i can just (re)connect the split ends with a terminal block? Otherwise, how easy are the abs sensors to replace for a layman?

As cheffie says, but use the heat sealing shrink ones and that will be the strongest part of the wire!
