Hi there - i wonder if you can help. I’ve very recently bought a September 18 L200 for towing a car trailer.
The log book states it has a capacity of 3100kgs but I never knew there was any difference. Thought they are 3.5t as per the stickered up car on the dealers forcourt.
In short I’ve asked my dealer for my money back or a car with a 3.5t towing capacity. They have take nearly 2 weeks to come back to me to say they will buy it back as a used car and will try to source me a 3.5t Car.
They apologised for not pointing this out and admites you cannot tell the difference visually, they have to check using their computer systems. It transpires I have bought a 2017MY and not a 2018MY as I had thought.
Where do I stand with this. I see it as the goods are not fit for my purpose and they have been Mis-represented.
Any advice here will Be approach.Thanks in advance.
