Finally 95% complete

Have to replace the centre painted piece as this was a sample which blistered. Have to add in the sun visors and was hoping to leave the sides naked but may be forced to add the roof handles and pins to hold the sides down

what amazes me is that you could even come up with the idea of doing this let alone have the skills to do it too

Jeez, well done Daz! I'd never have thought of doing something like that!

Is this the sort of thing you do for a living?

Thanks guys, really appreciate what you's have said
This is the first time I've ever done anything like this, I kiinda knew roughly what to do from watching shows like wcc, overhauling, monster garage etc. Is something I'd love to do for a job but expensive to get up and runningn that and I don't have any qualifications in thiss field

think you`d find that a good few of the guys in the shows you mention don`t have quals in their field - theres a guy I know on skye whos a superb marine fabicator and fitter, who`s a car mech by trade, its imagination and flare that count more (plus a degree of manual dexterity, all of which you appear to have )
If you want it badly enough, you`ll find a way, just don`t give up

I'm in Northern Ireland, which sucks as prices over here are sightly dearer, I had to get my fabric from Chester I think it was and glue from Eire
