Hi just bought the truck it’s a 62 plate barbarian and it seems when I lock it with keys fob the alarms goes off after about 30seconds but if I lock it with the key it’s ok, I have noticed when u lock with the key the little red light doesn’t flash , am
I doing something wrong or what maybe the problem

it is probably not activated when u lock the truck with the key

check all your windows are closed (including the one in the rear of the cab)

If you lock it with the key the alarm is not armed ... that's why there's no light flashing. The alarms on these things are absolutely crap ... they have multiple issues including those related to voltage drop, hi lo temperature, pressure.

The same sometimes it’s ok but it’s doing my nut in , how many times should the indicators flash when it locks , sometimes mine flash once sometimes twice and I think I noticed them
Flashing 3 times but can’t be sure ,

one flash for locked (then red light on dash)
two flashes for unlocked
not ever seen three flashes

If it's a cobra (and some other platforms) 3 lights can mean it has an event trigger (ie, it's gone off). Its possible one of the trigger circuits has gone tits up or one door isn't locking all the time.

The only remote tail lock is the one on the canopy usually, if fitted.
