@Roomac Because it's not just a flasher relay, it's part of the ETACS unit. Have you checked the fuse under the bonnet? ETACS is a big white box behind the fuse panel... "ETACS is Mitsubishi's unique system that controls all of the vehicle's electrical components including the headlights, door mirrors, windshield wipers, etc."

Ahhh.. I see.....
The plan was to swap the (now non existent) indicator relay with one that is designed for LED lights.....
Hoping that if I can cure the double speed indicators then that will also fix the gearbox sticking issue, which only shares with the trailer (and led lights) on the back...
Maybe it'd be easier to replace the trailer lights....

@RooMac
Actually, I've been looking over at newtriton about this, and the one bit you haven't seen yet, is apparently it can cause issues with the ABS as well. There's a few options here, simplest one is a connector plug to go between trailer and vehicle connectors that buffers the issue
LED Trailer adapter
ATE UK LED adapter

Cheers Tek - that looks ideal - a bit pricey but if it does the trick happy days 😁 👍
Hadn't heard about the ABS risk but good to know.

You say that Roo, but what price having to replace the nice looking bright trailer lights(including your time to switch and rewire), or the christmas tree of colored lights on the dashboard?

Just tried the second option there but still double speed indicators so have emailed the company for advice and possibly back to the drawing board 😁👍

Err not sure if I should join in here but.....
On every car I have owned a double speed indicator indicates a blown bulb. It would be a hell of a coincidence but might be worth a quick check.
