Thanks for the warm welcome, @ronniecabers and @krutly.
New to L200 ownership having just replaced my ageing Discovery (following a catastrophic MoT fail - and not having the heart nor time to lift the body for the third time....)
Picked up a 53-plate Warrior with only 86k on the clock - cracking truck and really pleased with it so far!
So far, fixed the electric windows, central locking and rear diff lock, fitted front spots, rear worklights and CB radio - and replaced the stereo, fitting my bluetooth at the same time!
Next on the list is full service inc belts, replacing the tyres and exhaust, fix the front foglamps issue and to sort out the 4H and 4L not appearing to be working...
Also need spare wheel if anyone has one knocking around?
I'm ex-motor trade (the wife says "There's no such thing as an ex-mechanic....) and based in North Worcestershire - happy to help out fellow members if i can, and welcome advice from more experienced hands than I!!!
The truck will have a fairly relaxed semi-retirement with me - it'll be used for Rugby (Winter) and Cricket (summer) coaching duties, carrying tools to fix various tractors, kit and equipment for friends and tow the caravan a couple of times a year, whilst being on standby for any bad weather!
Looking forward to talking and meeting with you over the coming months and years!
Watters.

Hi Watters
these trucks usually respond well to a good service
deffo worth doing the belts especially if you dont have evidence they've been done recently
belts aren't too bad to do just double and triple check the timing marks when you do as they can be tricky to get just right
plenty of advice on here about tyres , sizes, choices etc just ask
also exhausts, many have side exit ones that do away with the rear box altogether
if you need front fogs let me know and I'll post you a link to some after market ones that fit for a fraction of the price new ones are
failing that @George has a set up for grabs at the moment
am I assuming you have a green flashing 4X4 light on the dash ?
this is usually a vacuum leak issue somewhere
as long as you dont engage 4H or 4L on tarmac or hard ground you'll not do any damage
4WD is only for loose surfaces on these trucks unless you have the later superselect gearbox which came in on the next model on from yours

Awesome - thank you!
Front fogs were already fitted but i think theres a wiring fault - when you switch them on, the sidelights come on.....some investigation required!
Not got ANY lights illuminating on the dash for 4H or 4L.......could it be a switch?

No dash light would suggest you have a flashing 4X4 light and the previous owner has removed the bulb to hide the fact , watter

I suspect there will be a blank where you should have a bulb behind your dash
pics of how to get the dash out and where there should be bulbs and where there isn't are here in my gallery -----> g309-interior.html
on the other hand the bulb may have genuinely blown ........ ........
