Curiosity question - I have a Barbarian Series 5. If I start the vehicle keylessly with the key in my pocket and then get out to, say, defrost the windows, if someone else jumps in and drives off will the vehicle stop after a while or will it just keep on going? I don't want to test it because I don't want to be 5 miles down the motorway without a key.

ha ha well my mates range rover the other month the girls got out at the restaurant and we were going to park as they went in the car died and my mate had to run in after her the key was in her handbag .

so try it I dont think it is far

So best not to drop the key out of the window on a motorway either I guess.

I've tried about 150m away and the vehicle was still running (unlike myself). Lol
