Its nothing to be jealous of dude...we all use our trucks for different things.mines purely a family vehicle so i like to keep it looking best it can..

Its not perfect..it has a couple of stone chips on the rear tailgate and a couple of scuffs in the front bumper..these were there when i bought it but...a customer of mine is a body shop sprayer and he will sort that for me when he can fit me in.

I dont mind spraying little bits but full panels i will leave to the expert

A bit more work as i have a bit of spare time today..

Alloys refurb

Here are the before and after shots of one wheel..thats all ive done as i can only do one at a time so..after getting the palm sander with 120 grade paper,i then progressed to 180 grade then a 400. Then,believe it or not moved on to brasso to polish it off.

Here's the finished result on one wheel.ive a feeling they may tarnish quickly but if thats the case i will simply re polish then lacquer them up.

they look great mate, bet you're glad you had a bash at them yourself now eh? the longer you spend with the polish, the better the finish you get.

Well,they aren't perfect mate but a hundred times better than they were..just finished the second one now..quick coffee and on with the third.

Just got the last wheel done and refitted..more pics in the gallery.im fairly pleased with them..im a bit of a perfectionist and they aren't perfect,but as i said,sooooo much better than before,so for now.....im happy.

I too am a perfectionist DD, however mine have to look perfect from 50 yards (other measurements are available) with one eye closed and the other one squinting a bit

Lol..my next job is to get it all waxoyled..hopefully,wheather permitting,this weekend..then im booking it in for the scuffs spraying.

A might too shiny perhaps? I mean even taking off the dustcaps to clean them is super keen!
That ding in the tailgate would dent-doctor out I reckon if you are going for the whole shabang Daz.

The only paint mine had or ever needed was on the front bumper - a deep scuff on each corner.

Other than that, no one actually believed me it was all orininal and genuine
