Hi all
I'm running into the ocassional code 49 issue (overboost). I have seen the instructions here -
How to :- Adjust Turbo Overboost
and I also found the below item in the How-Tos. It is locked so I have to ask about it here.
It refers to the 4D56 engine, so maybe it applies to other vehicles in addition to K74 ?
It is a 7 page service newsletter issued in 2005 and revised in 2007, (and also refers to a previous newsletter from 2003) but the how-to only actually includes 6 of the 7 pages (Page 5 is missing, page 4 is duplicated)
Does anyone have an online version, or copy of page 5 please?
Mitsi VGT Turbo Setup
Thanks very much

huh I wondered how that happened with the missing pages. I have the hard copies somewhere. I will have a hunt in the new year. Are the pics in the gallery correct or duplicated there also?

Something to take into account when adjusting an old turbo is allowing for any wear within the mechanism , rule of thumb is 11 threads showing on max boost screw but you may require a little more to allow for wear

Hi @ronniecabers
I got hold of a full copy of the document from another forum member. Here is the missing Page 5. Perhaps it could be added to the article -
