Ok guys , Anybody have the torque settings for Idler pulley and belt tensioner on a discovery 2 please? can't find them in the Haynes manual!!
did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!

sorted BUT, for some reason the belt is loose, tensioner won't tighten belt! anybody out there ideas? I fitted tensioner and tightened up then fitted belt, should I fit belt then tighten? def the right belt ( disco 2 with AC and ACE)

Usually you'd fit belt and then tension unless it's an auto tensioner. If you try and tension before it can't actually be tensioned , as what are you actually tensioning

its an auto tension, but donkey of the week here!! bought the wrong belt, thought I had ACE but it works out just AC and PS!! dohh. need to buy the right one this time!!
