My truckman top refuses to open, key turns through 90 degrees handle then moves about 30 degrees you can hear the pins trying to move but thats it, only 8 months old any ideas before i break the handle or smash the glass as a final resort. Thanks

Whatever you don't break the glass!. If its canopy purchased from new , contact the seller , no way a lock should stop working after 8 months, other alternative would be to drill the actual lock out , completely , so slowing working up to a larger size , or a point where you can wedge something in to turn it ....sounds like the spindle is rounding off to me

got a pic? i just took mine apart to fix a issue with it, turns out the back of the handle and cam have rusted away I am going to make a new one and weld it on,
