Hi I have 2003 L200 2.5td I have got an issue start the truck runs fine Rev the truck to 1000rpm engine light comes on revs drop and then slow to rev. Tried to plug up with 5 different scanners all saying the same thing ecu no link . What I have noticed is that when I start the truck the turbo arm sits on the top stop where I believe it should be then as soon as I rev it it and goes in to limp mode the arm sits on bottom stop and dose not return back to top stop now I definitely seem to have vacuum there as when the truck is running disconnect the vac pipe arm drops reconnect are moves to top stop. any ideas will be welcome What I’m I missing it’s driving me around the bend sorry for the long post
The reason you cannot get any info via the diagnostic socket is L200 Classic's are not OBD.
They use MUT3, only certain code readers work. Mitzi readers do but they are very expensive.
Some Snap On and Delphi readers work
