How to get access to the rest of the forum?

#1 by thefatty , Tue Jun 23, 2020 8:51 pm

Hi @Admin and co. Just wondering how I get access to the 'Workshop' section of the site. Attempting a clutch replacment on the drive and looking for a guide so i dont waste too much time taking bits out that dont need to be removed! Already got props out and oils drained. Many thanks

Im guessing the starter needs to come off, the slave cylinder, gear sticks then the box should unbolt and slide back over the cross-member leaving enougth space to get to the clutch plate? I was going to support the box from above in the cabin with a tie-me-down and a bar, and from the bottom with a jack, should be enougth to hold it in place I hope!

Perhaps someone could print the guide for the clissic l200 and post it here as a pdf? Just in case the @admin has been furloughed

Anyway, new clutch is in and working as of last Friday so urgent access to the forum no longer needed! I was going to post some pictures but it wont even let me do that even though its hosted elsewhere.
