HI all please help if you can:
My L200 had the management light come on and for some time I was just told to carry on driving (I know) it as it was just an EGR valve issue but would cost £500 to replace and re-set!
However as you would expect it eventually went into limp mode so I change the EGR valve my self ended up an easy job this cleared that fault code but produced another code, which lead me to the diesel filter, so changed that and yep you guessed it another code this lead me to the suction valve and I have changed that as well, brought up another code, all fuel related codes so I have been through the fuel lines to make sure all is OK and no further issues I can find, just continues to go into limp mode and the engine management light comes on.
The only thing I haven't changed is the fuel pump itself but I will need someone to do that for me as i cant change the belts etc.
Codes i have had P1901, PO192, P0089, P1275, P1272 also had a code about accelerator pedal all have been reset with a cheapy code reader and left with just P1901
Any suggestions for a numpty please?

worth noting that sometimes a faulty power upgrade chip can cause these sorts of issues
if you have one it may be worth disconnecting it to see if that makes a difference

I'm definitely no expert on this, but I thought I read somewhere you need to carry out some sort of reset/learn on the ECU after changing the SCV?

Suction valve had to be "taught" settings and requirements!
Fortunately I found a friend that could sort that an now completed with his trusty lap top.
The ERG valve started to play up again (its new) this then cleared after I "ragged" the car about, it had probably been sitting around too long with lots of little starts and seems ok now.
Within a couple of days has started a new fault the gearbox/clutch seems to get stuck at 3000rv & 40mph, release the accelerator and it clears, so now need my gearbox looked at!! Oh well the joys of L200 ownership eh?

Iain, any issues with an auto gearbox and the first thing you need to check is the wiring loom
they have been known to crack/chafe where they are attached to the chassis and crossmember
a simple broken wire can cause all sorts of issues, worth checking this before delving further into the gearbox

No visual issues as far as I can tell, may have to find a way of testing it, but strange happens always at 3000 revs, slack off the accelerator pedal and go again its fine.

had a 'hesitation' on my classic years ago around 2,250 revs changing the fuel filter cured this problem
