My 2003 l200 animal is stuck in 4x4 and green light is on the dash

having the green 4x4 light flashing doesn't necessarily mean you are stuck in 4x4
if you are stuck in 4x4 , try reversing in a straight line and hope it disengages itself
4x4 is designed to be only used on slippery surfaces if you've used in on tarmac etc then you'll get diff wind up
if your lever is in 2wd and the truck drives normally (goes round bends) then you are not in 4wd you've just got a flashing 4x4 light
having a flashing 4x4 light is very common on these trucks and is usually a vacuum leak somewhere or stuck plunger or faulty solenoid

I'm 100% still in 4x4 tryed going back and forth to get it out with no joy

So your lever is in 4 wheel drive?

I'm not sure but I have seen reports ( may have been for the next model up B40 ) of a bush breaking in the gear lever housing
