Hopefully someone can help shed some light on this please.....???
Sequence of events below to try to explain the problem I'm having which may well be me simply being an idiot!
I recently purchased an 06 plate L200 Warrior from a garage in Bristol which I had to have delivered as I'm based in Kent
Motor arrived and after a quick walk round check with delivery driver truck was locked up and left until I had more time for a closer look.
A couple of hours later I go out for a closer look and unlock the truck via the ignition key which has two buttons - Lock & Unlock.
When I open the door the alarm goes off.
I put the ignition on and start the truck but still the alarm goes.
I lock the truck up again and after about 20 seconds the alarm stops.
Tried just unlocking the truck using just the the key in the door and not the key button but still alarm goes off.
Starting to upset the neighbors now ......
Spoke to the dealer I bought the truck from who couldn't help over the phone but did offer to get a mobile sparks local to me to come take a look if I had no luck over the weekend.
Any ideas what this particular imbecile might be doing wrong or is there actually an alarm problem ??
Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Ok so an update on the alarm saga and what I've managed to do ....
I unlocked the truck by using the key in the door NOT the key fob remote.
Alarm sounded.
Start the engine and wait about a minute and alarm went off.
Drove truck for about 15 miles - No alarm
Locked truck using key in door.
Opened truck with key in door - No alarm.
Tried to lock truck using key fob remote and wouldn't lock.
Tried opening locked truck with key fob remote and wouldn't unlock.
So would I be right in thinking the fob battery may need replacing ?????
At least I can use the stupid motor now so things are looking up!

For how much the batteries cost i would give it a try.
It was the first thing i did when i got my 2017 Ford Kuga in March, i swapped both mine.
That way you know how old the battery in the fobs are.
