Hi all, I have a 2006 L200 B40 and noticed that the bottom pulley has a bit of a wobble on. Having seen previous models having issues with the pulley/bolt I decided to put a new pulley, bolt and washer on from milers 4x4. All looked visually ok when removed with no damage or excessive wear. The problem I have is that it’s still got a wobble, worse when hot. No noises or anything when driving or at idle. Is this something that I should be concerned about and any ideas what could be causing it?
Thanks in advance.
You say no damage, was that just the Pulley or did you inspect the keyway for the bolt too?

Hi, I visually checked the key way and threads on both the bolt and inside the crank nose. I’m guessing that there is meant to be no movement whatsoever of the pulley?
Thanks for the reply.
There shouldn't be any movement in the pulley , not that I'm aware off. @Alan G may be able to offer a bit more advice

Unusual for a B40 pulley to have this issue.
To be safe the only option you have is to replace the pulley. It may very well be delaminating so best to do it before it damages anything. If you fit a new one and its still the same then there must be wear on the crank that only a micrometer would be able to read.
