Hi i hope someone can help i have recently brought a 60 plate barbarian auto, on the dash where the PRND is meant to be only P and R is showing so N and D doesnt show up the truck reverses fine but obviously has no drive also the rev counter is not working. i have had it plugged into a machine which shows inhibitor switch circuit my local garage have had a look at the wiring and can't see any signs of rubbing or wear and have tested the circuit so they are also at abit of a loss aswell thanks in advance

The B40 wiring looms were known to rub on the housing /tunnel , this created all sorts of issues with the auto box. It may be a case of stripping the loom out and checking for damage and also continuity of each wire to found a break . it just may not be visible from a quick check
