Ive removed the spill rail (nearly)and now faced with two hex's to remove the injector..Ive included a picky....either the smaller hex in the left of the yellow circle or the deeper recessed hex deeper in the head..Are the hard To shift..ive left it overnite soaking in wd if that helps..ta Nic

@Nik Rite It's the big bugger at the bottom 22mm you'll need a long reach socket. I've no had any problems getting em out.
If it's not broken yet, you're not trying hard enough.

yeh its tight thin walled socket is best i turned one down for the job years ago

Just having the injectors cleaned and recalibrated but Ive read there are two possible options for the breaking point pressures . Mines an 06 4d56, can anyone hazard a guess to what this pressure should be? Is it that the newer ones are at the higher pressure? Ta Nik

Mines an import 8valve 2006 first registered 2007 ...Ta re "heads up"....head fitted,torqued up 135nm, and cam timed today with exhaust manifold fitted also...Cleaned injectors should be ready tomorrow..Ta as always
