Hi all!
I’ve read through the previous threads regards similar issues but I’m not sure if this is the same.
Started out as a strange surge and drop in power when under load, for example when driving up a hill.
Last week or so it’s been cutting out at idle, however not when engine is first started.
Even when it starts dropping revs, if you apply throttle it still stalls. Mainly when coming to a standstill at junctions, lights etc.
Tried blanking the EGR valve off today but the valve wasn’t badly caked and the issue still remained.
Engine runs fine at road and motorway speed.
Also I haven’t run out of fuel but do run it a bit low sometimes!
From reading the other posts, I’m guessing it’s a fuel related issue?
Thank you!

Try changing fuel filter or could be suction control valve.

Also check the boost pipe isn't blocked up inside the alloy tube that goes to the engine. You may need to poke a small drill bit in to clean it out.
Also check the rubber pipe for cracks / splits.

Initially I took it out, cleaned it, I read on a Aussie group about turning them 180 to get a little bit more life out of it. Just got me through until a new one arrived and did a straight swap. Runs a treat now.
I think it was a few things, it got considerably worse during the fuel crisis, I never run it to empty and always use garage fuel. But because the garage tanks were running so low they were putting all the sludge at the bottom of the tanks in to peoples cars. My fuel filter was rammed with diesel algae so replaced that before I got to having a look at the SCV.
