Thanks for the welcome @ronniecabers!
In summary, I have been an L200 owner for about 4 years. My K74 Beastie (it's in Animal trim) was purchased to stop my missus from nagging on about the sawdust, splinters, grease and other mandruff I was leaving in the family car when doing jobs for family and friends. Bought for purely functional purposes, the Beastie was not and still is not a looker. Until only recently the bonnet and roof clearcoat was pretty much rubbed off (I think it was under a tarp before I bought it) and so I finished the job with some 120 grit and gave it some good strong coats of Hammerite Stone Chip Shield. It now has a fetching semi-gloss and matt sand-textured look (I will no doubt post some pics when I figure out how to).
My K74 comes with all the Mitsy extras, lazy-wind seatbelts and opening/non-closing electric windows - the latter are great fun when Mrs Chimp lets her window go beyond the point of no return on the coldest days of the year just before I drop her at the station.
I'm not one for glossy panels and gently purring motors and to be honest, my eagerness to 'fix' thing far outstrips my ability to fix things - one thing the Beastie has taught me is how to drill out and retap bolt holes - so the forums can expect quite a few forehead-slapping questions from me - I have no shame.
Speed bumps - PAH!

Welcome , the quick fix for the windows is silicone spray down the rubber channels the windows run in , my k74 has a ban on lowering them below 3” in the back for the same reason. Mine has the same sort of exterior look with a paint roller job on the roof and wings rattle can painted in near enough red and whatever silver 😁

shogun sport , not much I can say about it really other than it’s slower than the l200 🤷♂️

Thankyou for the welcome ronniecabers,
Not yet an L200 owner. It's on it's way and scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, a 2003 (with canopy) from the Staffordshire Truck Company and I plan on keeping it for a long time.
This will be my first pickup, after years (decades) of driving family saloons and SUVs, but now that I've only the odd shuttling grandkids duties, I thought it's time I got something I like.
I live remote rurally in the Trossachs so it's arriving just in time for the snow.
