Serviced the truck this morning, 34,244 miles
Parts from Mitzi £85, not too bad.
Don't think the fuel filter had ever been done, not really surprised @ £33 each.

Fitted a EGR blanking module off Chris this week.
All ok so far, way easier than messing about with a blanking plate.
Seems to run smoother,

Ordered my Agritune Pro box this morning, lets see what its like once fitted.
Looks like I should be running close to 225 bhp, and better fuel economy.
Will post more once its fitted and done a few weeks.

The EGR mod is 2 mins to fit, way better than a blanking plate.

Did an oil change 400 miles ago, checked oil today and its between max and X.
Fitted EGR chip 2 weeks ago, MPG has gone down since by 5 MPG around town.
Wonder if the chip is causing the DPF to re gen more often, ???

Saturdays job, lower oil level back to max, remove EGR chip and see what happens to MPG and watch oil level for a couple of weeks.
Seems to run better and smoother with chip fitted, but cant have oil level going up like this.

Got the truck in Nov, oil was on max, taken till March to reach the X.

Didn't someone on here say about oil level rising due to a diesel leak on injectors that trashed an engine ? Not sure if it was on here or Facebook but would be worth having a shout out . Not saying that's what's making your oil level rise but worth checking

When the DPF needs to re gen the ECU adds more diesel, if the re gen doesn't complete, by engine being switched off on short journeys.
The extra derv goes into the bores and into the oil, when the oil reaches the X above max its time to change the oil.
This should not happen on trucks that do big miles and longer runs.

Ok EGR chip removed, oil back to max.
Agritune box has been fitted about 2 weeks, only takes 5 mins to fit, just a couple of plugs.
Got mine on ECO setting, but gives mild extra power, getting better fuel economy around town.
Fitted the Eagle 4x4 Tailgate remote locking kit today, takes about an hr.
