Put a simalar one on my landy 90 12 mths later makeing funny noises then seized. supposed to be water proof, when i striped it down the com was a pile of rust cleaned it up then the clutch went next, same problem. as far as i am concerned you pay for what you get never do it again. 5.4 ton on first spool of wire. pay the extra and get hydrolic

dont want to go hydraulic, but thanks for the reply - you've confirmed my concern that its too cheap to be worth trying.

Mine still works but if you do go for one i would strip it and make sure water proof

thought mine was cheap at £325, 13k lbs pull. took two recomms off jimmy and farmer l200 off the oc - can`t fault it after a year and regular use at work - wire rope is starting to fray but that is prob inexperience early on.

oh dear! its no make, (not like me at all) got it from fleabay, co. called winch-it who have changed ( oh noooooo!) but! they now have resurfaced and I`ll try to find a linky - we did this not long ago on here malky - see if you can find it before i get back - love to get another one - they do orange ones now! wait here.....

ive got that winch on my recovery truck, still working great and is used everyday for accidents and breakdowns... no issues with it yet... had it for two and half years now
