Hi new on here I was wondering if any one new the vacuum on the back of the alternator has the normal oil pipe from filter
And pipe to the sump and the little vacuum system pipe. On the older models it is piped to the turbo on my 02 plate it is not connected to anything just wondering if it meant to be? Cheers

Blocks are the same, so are the oil filter mounting plate, so no difference that I know of, both should be the same re external connections. No reason or a connection to the turbo at all, and highly unlikely as an alternator failure could the effect the turbo in some way
