Looks like I've sussed the picture insert thing so I will continue.

As soon as I had it the old company logos came off, and I found myself a set of alloy wheels fitted with 285/75/16 BFG ATs. these went on but I had a few minor issues around the front so had to remove the mud flaps and arch liners and do some creative triming. I now have clearance on lock but would like to fit a body lift to give some more clearance.

Not long after buying the truck I decided I wasn't happy with the van look the truckman gave it, and my mind was made up to remove it when the rear door glass smashed on me in a services.

After this I was tipped off on here to an Armadillo roller cover in Whitby. After a day out with the family to collect it I sold the truckman for the cost of the roller cover, meaning it only cost me fuel for a day out.

Things stopped here for a while, other than interior cleaning, as I was busy with our house.

A big reason why I bought this was to do a little green laning. Early this year I got my chance and im hooked...

After the day laning I found the truck could do with a few things... Wider wheel arches for a start to stop the wheels covering the sides in mud, I'd had my eye on some flexi flares for a while but sourcing some in Britain proved difficult but i managed to find a seller and purchased 20ft of 2.5" wide flexi flare. I'm pleased with the results an look different to the standard arches. My lovely wife also bought me a CB for my birthday. Which I have fitted above the head unit (as it's a 4 work it has a small cubby above the head unit).

I also realised I could do with better underbody protection, after sourcing the drawing from Newtrinton.net I found someone to manufacture me one at a very competitive price.

I'm off on another day laning in Leicestershire at the end of the month to test out these new additions. I am contemplating a snorkel before this day, as I've seen there could be a few water crossings. I need to persuade the wife that this is a good idea first though...

I've also got a Rallitronic box in the shed I need to look over and fit again. Fitted it once and it worked until I drove it then after test drive it would start up but not run. I've ordered a bluetooth obd2 plug and I'm going to try the Torque diagnostics app so that I can monitor things when I plug it all back in.

Bluetooth OBD plug came yesterday, plugged it in an tested this morning with Torque diagnostic app. Works well took some data readings so going to try fitting my rallitronic module this weekend.

4mm mild steel, should be much stronger than the tin front one I have and the missing rear one... Already got all the old bolts out and replaced them with nice new ones so I am hoping to get time one evening this week to fit them.

Truck has to go through MOT tonight though so fingers crossed...

Yay MOT passed, none advisories... well pleased now then persuade the wife I need a snorkel...
