Seems to be the thing to do, and there is quite a few members with them on and i havent read any issues with them?? Cant see why they wont work propely tho ,
Only issues is camber but shim that back to its correct angle.

Any reasons they said?

Ive flipped my balljoints and it gave me a lift of 1/2". From an engineers perspective I dont agree with ball joint spacers at all though. Alot of sheering off potential.

Because of the extra leverage the spacers provide?

the flip is ok. but yeah the extra leverage the spacers provide would worry me if i fitted them on my truck. its only 3 M8 bolts holding them on. yeah you can drill them out to 10mm but what you gain in bolt strength you lose in wishbone strength. at the end off the day with the bump stops removed the total amount of droop on my truck is about 24 1/2 ". i have a front ride height of 23". so you can only lift so far before your wishbones bottom out.
